MG ZS to reach markets outside China.
The MG ZS was unveiled last November in China and has now reached Thailand for testing. The MG ZS looks like it is set to hit the Thai market this year. MG Motor could use the 'XS' brand on the car, like in the UK.
Targeted at young first-time car buyers, the MG ZS is the company's product in the B-segment and competes with the likes of Ford EcoSport and Hyundai ix25 (Hyundai Creta) depending on the market. The sub-compact SUV is based on a shortened version of the MG GS's platform.

It is available with two engine options: 1.5-litre NSE Plus and 1.0-litre TGI SUPER. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine produces 88 kW (117.96 hp) and 150 Nm of torque, while the 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine develops 92 kW (123.32 hp) and 170 Nm of torque.
