Suzuki Gixxer SF FI had been the only BSIV motorcycle made by Suzuki India.
Suzuki India has updated the Suzuki Gixxer and Suzuki Gixxer SF to meet the upcoming BSIV emission norms. The bikes also gain change in graphics and Auto Headlamp On (AHO) feature.
The Suzuki Gixxer naked gets new colour options for the rear disc variant. The bike will be available in Pearl Mira Red & Glass Sparkle Black dual-tone, Metallic Triton Blue & Glass Sparkle Black dual tone and Glass Sparkle Black single tone. The drum brake variant loses out on dual tone colour options. It will now be available only in Glass Sparkle Black colour.
The faired Suzuki Gixxer SF with a carburettor will be available in Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Mat Black and Pearl Mira Red. The fuel injected version will now be offered in Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Mat Black colours.

The Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF is powered by a 154.9 cc single cylinder air cooled mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 14.8 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The 17-inch wheels get a 100/80 specification up front and a 140/60 section tyre in the rear.
The 2017 Suzuki Gixxer cost INR 77,452 for the drum brake trim and INR 80,528, while the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SF carburetted and fuel injected version costs INR 89,659 and INR 93,499 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
