Retains the dual tone beige and black color combo.
Gaadiwaadi has managed to acquire images of the 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire Tour's interior along with a spyshot of the front-end. The new Dzire Tour is expected to launch shortly after the 3rd gen Swift Dzire goes on sale in India in May.
The new Swift Dzire Tour will retain the dual-tone beige and black interior of the regular Swift Dzire with beige fabric upholstery, even featuring wood trim on the dashboard and door cards. As it's based on the 'L' grade of Swift Dzire, the Tour doesn't get a music system or tachometer, but has an MID and power window controls. The front-end has also been revealed, which features a similar front fascia but with black plastic grille and bumper embellishers.
Some reports say that Maruti would extend the wheelbase of the Swift Dzire for the Tour version given that the current model’s length is over 4m, which we believe is unlikely as Maruti will have to retool the plant to produce long wheelbase 2nd gen Dzires for a small market segment. We reckon Maruti could fit thinner, scooped-out front seats to liberate more knee room.
