Reported to arrive in India before the next gen Swift hatchback.
Cartoq has created a rendering of the 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire, based on spyshots that have recently surfaced online. It integrates the front-end of the next-gen Suzuki Swift Sport with a familiar-looking body.
The interior has not been spied up close, but a distant spyshot revealed that the new Dzire will feature a center console slightly different from the next gen Swift hatchback, and a dual-tone black-and-beige color combination. Some of the equipment we can expect in top variants include dual airbags, ABS, EBD, alloy wheels, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, a touchscreen SmartPlay entertainment system with reverse camera and navigation and steering mounted controls.
The next gen Maruti Swift Dzire will be based on the Maruti Baleno‘s lightweight platform, that could contribute to a weight loss of about 80 kg, thus improving fuel efficiency and vehicle dynamics. The diesel variant could be equipped with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) technology to avail the Indian government’s FAME incentive (of around INR 13,000) and take the mileage towards 30 km/l.

Reports suggest that Maruti will launch the 2017 Swift Dzire before the next-generation 2017 Maruti Swift in H2 2017. It will be the second product to be manufactured at Maruti's new plant in Gujarat which will begin operations in the first quarter of 2017, making the Baleno.
IAB's rendering of the 2017 Maruti Dzire will be ready in a few days.
