The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is expected to have a peak power of 45-50 PS and feature a second balancer shaft for lesser engine vibration.
According to the reports, the 2017 KTM Duke 390 gets a redesigned fuel tank, larger tank shrouds, more exposed trellis frame, smaller rear section and a conventional exhaust canister replacing the underbelly unit just like the case of the new KTM RC390 that was presented at the EICMA 2015 in Milan. It is expected that the 2017 KTM 390 Duke will comply with the Euro 4 emission norms despite featuring a more powerful motor. The peak power output is expected to be somewhere between 45 PS and 50 PS. To reduce the vibration of the single-cylinder mill it is rumoured that KTM will add a second balancer shaft to the cylinder head similar to the case of the new KTM 690 Duke.
