Could be made in India.
Here is a rendering of the KTM 390 Adventure which is anticipated to be introduced in the coming months.
A recent report suggested that a KTM adventure tourer with 200 cc and 390 cc engine options could be launched as early as April-May 2016. It is believed that KTM started to develop an adventure tourer in 2011 and tried to use the same chassis the Duke is based on.
Reports say that the KTM 390 Adventure will be underpinned by a new frame that is more suitable for touring and off-roading. This chassis will accommodate the 200 cc as well as the 390 cc engines that are currently on offer on the Duke and RC twins.

The design of the adventure KTM is expected to draw inspiration from the KTM 1190 Adventure. The model would compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the Mahindra Mojo. The adventure twins could be priced close to the KTM RC twins, and would be produced locally at Bajaj Auto's Chakan plant to serve domestic demand as well as KTM's list of export markets.
Rivals: Royal Enfield Himalayan, Mahindra Mojo
Expected price: INR 1.5 lakhs for 200 cc version, 2 lakhs for 390 cc model (ex-showroom)
