Could be launched in Malaysia in the next few weeks.
A Paultan reader has photographed the 2017 Honda City in Malaysia, suggesting that it is the next ASEAN market after Thailand to receive the car. It could launch in Malaysia in a few weeks.
The spy shot only reveals a portion of the new City, which appears to feature camo wrap in several areas of the body. However, don't expect too many or any differences to the Thai-spec Honda City.
The 2017 Honda City will feature redesigned headlamps with LED tech, bolder LED DRLs, redesigned chrome grille inspired by the Honda Civic, new bumper with fog lamps, 16-inch diamond cut alloy rims (15-inch alloy rims in middle grades) and a sportier rear bumper.
The Honda City for Malaysia could also be available with a speed-sensing auto door lock, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, cruise control, 60:40 split folding rear seats, LED cabin lights, a 6.8-inch touchscreen audio system and a new reverse parking camera.

Like the Thai-spec model, the new Honda City for Malaysia will pack a 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine delivering 117 hp at 6,600 rpm and 146 Nm at 4,600 rpm. An EarthDreams CVT is standard in all grades.
