1.61 lakh units later, the Honda Mobilio gets refreshed.
PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) introduced the 2017 Honda Mobilio last evening in Jakarta. It is the first time that the exterior of the Honda Mobilio has seen significant changes since its launch in 2014.
Changes to the 2017 Honda Mobilio include a new front grille, hood, and headlights equipped with LED DRL. On the side, the 2017 Mobilio features new 15-inch alloy wheels, while the rear license plate features a fresh garnish. In the RS variant, the 2017 Honda Mobilio, including a body kit consisting of a designed Front & Rear Bumper, Side Under Spoiler, and Tailgate Spoiler, features sporty Alloy Wheels and Power Retractable Door Mirrors.
New additions on the 2017 Honda Mobilio include thicker second-row seats, new steering-mounted audio controls, 6.8-inch Touchscreen infotainment system 6 Premium Speakers, Auto air-conditioning, New Meter Cluster Design and interior design in black with orange stitching.
The mechanicals witness no changes, with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine producing 118PS at 6,600 rpm which is the highest in its class. CVT with Earth Dreams Technology, Drive By Wire, Electronic Power Steering and Ground Clearance height 189 mm, are some of the highlights.
Dual Front SRS Airbags, Pretensioner with Load Limiter Seatbelt, 3 Point Seatbelt on the second row, ISOFIX and tether to support child seats, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and ABS + EBD round up the safety kit.
Honda Cars India has not confirmed plans for the Mobilio refresh.
