The LED headlamp console of the upcoming Yamaha R15 v3.0 has a menacing look.

The LED setup gives the bike a more aggressive look which will give it a better platform to fend off the challenge by the Honda CBR150R. Pilot lamps have been added at the end of the swept-back lamps. A large air dam has been placed adding to the aggression but that may remain as a mere cosmetic feature.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 is expected to get a bigger VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) mill with an engine displacement of around 155 cc. With the Suzuki GSX-R150 gaining the title of the most powerful motorcycle in the segment by producing 19.17 PS of maximum power, the bike is for sure set to get a power bump.

VVA tech will also help the bike have more usable power in lower rpm, making the Yamaha R15 much more rideable in city traffic. The front suspension now bears upside down forks. The Yamaha R15 v3.0 will effectively also get a price bump to compensate for the higher input cost.
