As Audi continues road testing the Audi Q2 following its Swiss premiere in preparation for its market launch, the crossover has been spied completely undisguised in the UK for the first time. The images shot in Newcastle, UK and originally published on q2forums by user Mr. Jake, show a black Audi Q2 coming from Ingolstadt, Germany where Audi's headquartered.
The Audi Q2 measures 4,191 mm in length, 1,794 mm (2,009 mm with mirrors) in width and 1,508 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,601 mm. The smallest Q series model has a ground clearance of 200 mm. Based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB platform, the Audi Q2 is offered with three petrol and three diesel engine choices: 85 kW (116 hp) 1.0-litre TFSI, 110 kW (150 hp) 1.4-litre TFSI, 140 kW (190 hp) 2.0-litre TFSI, 85 kW (116 hp) 1.6-litre TDI, 110 kW (150 hp) 2.0-litre TDI and 140 kW (190 hp) 2.0-litre TDI. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch.
A few among the Audi Q2's highlights include head-up display, fully-digital Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch display, MMI navigation plus infotainment system with MMI touch, Bang & Olufsen sound system, Nappa leather upholstery and a power liftgate.

The Audi Q2 will be manufactured at the company's Ingolstadt plant, and be up of order in mid-2016 and reach dealerships in Autumn 2016 (September-November 2016) in Europe.
