Expected to launch in Thailand in July this year.
HeadlightMag has more revealing spyshots of the 2016 Mazda BT-50 pickup (facelift), which is expected to launch in Thailand next month with updated styling and revised features.
According to the source, the 2016 BT-50, which is based on the Ford Ranger T6, will come in a total of 16 models spanning four variants: Single Cab, Open Cab, Open Cab Hi-Racer, Double Cab Hi-Racer and Double Cab 4x4.
The redesigned front fascia now subscribes to Mazda's KODO design language with its peeled back headlights, a chrome enclosed grille element and the new bumper with redesigned enclosures. Over to the sides, new diamond-cut alloy wheels appear to be the only changes, and according to reports, major changes are not expected at the rear of the pickup.
Coming to the features, the report states that the BT-50 facelift gets a reverse camera, an optional leather seating package, and Mazda's MZD Connect infotainment system. However, no changes are reported for the engines (3.2-liter and 2.2-liter diesel engines and 2.5-liter petrol engine) or transmission.
