Launched in Korea last month, the sixth-generation Hyundai Elantra was recently showcased at the 2016 Dubai Motor Show. It features an updated design, a stiffer body structure and measures 20 mm longer and 25 mm wider than the current version, and comes with updated features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a Harman audio system.
The 2016 Elantra is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2016 or in early-2017. It may continue to be assembled at Hyundai Motor India’s plant in Chennai with a moderate level of localization.
