BMW has announced that an updated BMW X1 would be presented at the North American International Auto Show (or Detroit Motor Show) that is to be held next month.
The 2015 model, which will go on sale in spring 2014 (begins late February and stretches until late May) is said to feature eye-catching exterior accents, a more refined interior ambiance along with innovative equipment. The updated model gets daytime driving lights as standard equipment and new 17-inch light-alloy wheels with V-spoke design.
A new Sparkling Brown metallic shade has also been added to the exterior paint finish.
The X1 when ordered with the BMW xLine, BMW Sport Line or the M Sport package gets its instrument cluster visor covered with a new soft-touch material. New options for interior trims include a choice of exclusive accents in high-gloss Black, matt Coral Red or pearl-gloss Chrome. The bottom edge of the tailgate gets a stainless steel sill protector.
The 2014 BMW X1 also gets the expanded range BMW ConnectedDrive services, which include services like Online Entertainment and the ECO PRO Analyser.
