The Yamaha X-Ride 125 replaces the Yamaha X-Ride 115.
The Yamaha X-Ride 125 has been launched at the ongoing Jakarta Fair 2017. The automatic scooter gains new headlamp and a fresher design. The instrumentation panel is also new and the engine is now a 'Blue Core' unit.
The Yamaha X-Ride 125 gains DiaSil cylinder and forged piston, LED headlamp and daytime running lights, hazard lamps, Eco indicator and a new gas-based monoshock in the rear. The seat design is now flat, and the fuel tank remains the same 4.2-litre unit. Yamaha has even managed to keep the kerb weight same at 98 kg.
The scooter has a ground clearance of 135 mm (the X-Ride 115 has a clearance of 152 mm). The seat height has been lowered from 780 mm to 760 mm. Both the tyres are now tubeless, and the front tyre is wider. The braking system in the Yamaha X-Ride 125 uses a front disc and a rear drum setup.
Colour options for the Yamaha X-Ride 125 include Explorer Green, Passion Red and Tough Black. Powering the scooter is a 125 cc Blue Core, SOHC, air-cooled mill capable of producing 9.52 PS pf maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 9.6 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

The 2017 Yamaha X-Ride 125 has been priced at IDR 17.25 million (OTR, Jakarta) which is IDR 1.25 million more than the outgoing Yamaha X-Ride 115.
