The Yamaha R15 v3.0 was unveiled in January 2017 in Indonesia.
A Vietnamese multi-brand dealership is offering the Yamaha R15 v3.0 in the country at an introductory price of 109 million VND. The offer will be applicable only until July 14, 2017, and restricted to limited units.
The Yamaha R15 v3.0 was officially showcased by Yamaha Vietnam in early May 2017. The motorcycle is the first product in the segment to get a slipper clutch and upside down fork up front, standard. Disc brakes at both ends, LED headlamps, all-digital LCD instrumentation with shift light & gear position indicator, and LED taillamp are its other features.
The bike has a V-Box tested top speed of 126.86 km/h and is the most powerful product in the segment. The 155.1 cc VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) liquid-cooled mill traces origins to the Yamaha Aerox 155 (Yamaha NVX 155). Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 19.31 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm.
The Yamaha R15 v3.0 has an 11-litre fuel tank and tips the scales at 137 kg. It has a seat height of 815 mm and ground clearance of 155 mm.
Yamaha India has not officially confirmed the Yamaha R15 v3.0 for the Indian market. The Yamaha R15 v2.0 retails in India at INR 119,788 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
