The brochure of the Yamaha M-Slaz has been released at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo where the model was unveiled today. While it reveals the technical specifications, features and the colour options of the M-Slaz, it does not mention the power and torque output.
The M-Slaz measures 1,955 mm in length, 795 mm in width, 1,065 mm in height, 1,350 mm in wheelbase, 805 mm in saddle height and 164 mm in ground clearance. Based on the Deltabox frame already seen on the Yamaha R15, the M-Slaz street fighter has a fork rake angle of 26 degrees and a caster trail of 88 mm. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 10.2 litres, engine oil tank capacity of 1 litre and a coolant tank capacity of 0.52 litres.
Featuring an LED headlamp, LED DRL and an LED taillamp, the M-Slaz gets a smaller MF battery than the R15's, rated at 12 V and 3.0 Ah. Salient features on the M-Slaz include an MT ignition switch (like the one on the Yamaha MT09 and MT07) in place of a push-type electric start button, an LED backlit full-negative LCD instrument panel, a 37 mm inverted telescopic fork, split seats, a large exhaust can, a monoshock-equipped multi-link rear suspension, a disc brake on each wheel, 110/70-17 M/C 54S tyre at the front and 130/70-17 M/C 62S tyre at the rear.

Available in four colours: silver-green, red-black, blue-white and matte black, the Yamaha M-Slaz is offered at an introductory price of THB 89,500 (1.66 lakhs). The motorcycle will be offered with a free back pack ‘MLB-SLAM’ worth THB 5,000 (INR 9,295) until January 31.
