The Volvo XC40 that was launched earlier this month has received over 200 orders within 15 days of its launch. This announcement was accompanied by the introduction of two new trims in addition to the R-Design that was made available at the time of launch.

The XC40 Momentum becomes the entry-level trim priced at INR 39.9 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the Inscription sits at the top of the pile priced at INR 43.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
The basic Momentum trim misses out on keyless entry with remote tag, heated front seats, driftwood inlays, power operated tail gate, adaptive cruise control, paddle shifters, Park Pilot Assist, Harman/Kardon audio system, inductive charging for smartphone among others. The top-end Inscription trim features power foldable rear headrests, crystal gear lever knob, and a different set of alloys.
