The TVS Dazz was once again spied testing in India by our keen-eyed reader Vinod Anand S. The underbone scooter was seen riding down the Hosur-Krishnagiri road. The Dazz was launched in Indonesia by TVS earlier this year and we still don't know if it will be launched in India.
The TVS range of scooters has four products in Indonesia, starting from the 110 cc Neo XR to a 125 cc Rockz to a 150 cc Tormax 150. The vehicle spied testing bears closer resemblance to the recently launched Dazz. The Dazz carries a 110 cc four-stroke air cooled engine that delivers 8.34 bhp and 8.3 Nm of torque.
The Dazz is extremely light, at just 93 kg and has a 5.3 liter petrol tank. Despite being the least expensive model in TVS Indonesia's lineup, the Dazz is equipped with disc brakes at front, tubeless tyres, mobile charger and electric start. Front suspension is taken care of by two telescopic forks and the rear gets a coil spring.
TVS had, when it launched the 125 cc Phoenix, announced that it would launch one new product each quarter, starting with the Phoenix. The Phoenix was followed by a 110 cc Jupiter scooter, which will be followed by the Scooty Zest variant early next year.
Could the Neo and Dazz come in during the following quarters?
