The TVS Dazz has been spied testing in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Details about the launch of the scooter in India are unknown. TVS currently sells the Dazz step-thru in the Indonesian market.
The scooter is available in two variants: TVS Dazz, which has a carburettor, and TVS Dazz Fi, which features fuel injection. The Indian bike maker showcased the fuel injected version of the Dazz at the 2016 Auto Expo in the country. It is not the first time the Dazz has been spotted on Indian roads. The scooter was spied in the country way back in 2013 and twice in the subsequent year.
Powering the TVS Dazz is a 109.65cc single cylinder SOHC mill. The variant with fuel injection also features Digitech-R + DFI Logic technology for better responsiveness and fuel efficiency. The version with the carburettor makes 8.34 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The FI variant generates 8.7 bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. The scooter features a charging port and parking brake as well.
