Speaking to Autocar in an interview, Arun Siddharth, Vice President Marketing, TVS Motor Company revealed that the company is open to the prospect of a twin cylinder bike. However, the company has no immediate plans for such a product.
One being asked about TVS' willingness to enter the twin-cylinder market in the next five years or so, Siddharth replied -
We will do whatever is required to be a global manufacturer. If there is a requirement from the markets we operate in for a certain kind of product, we would look at it and evaluate it. Whether we do it or not is a result of that evaluation.

Speaking about the impending electrification of vehicles, he stated that it is too early to judge the situation as the market changes every year due to technological improvements. However, the company bought a 14.75% stake in Ultraviolet Automotive, a Bengaluru-based electric start-up company this month. Siddharth also opined that the touring market in India is still in nascent stages. Currently, the Hosur-based bike maker is currently concentrating its resources on the recently launched TVS Apache RR 310.
