The brochure scans of TVS upcoming faired motorcycle, the TVS Apache RR 310S has been leaked out, picture courtesy Moto Drift.
The leaked brochure reveals the right side portion of the bike. The scans show two colour variants- Blue and Red. The crouched riding position reinforces the bike’s sporty intent. The design of the motorcycle is akin to the patent design image that was leaked in August. The bikes come with body-coloured frames as well. The pillion footpegs are of aluminium for weight reduction.

The motorcycle borrows the powerplant from the BMW G310R. The G310R employs a 313 cc single cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox. It develops 34 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. TVS is likely to tune the engine differently in the Apache to suit its dynamics.
The bike employs upside down front fork with gold finish and a rear monoshock. The monoshock gets a plastic covering to protect it from dust as well. The bike sports disc brakes on both ends, with the front using a radial calliper. Expect ABS at least as an option. The TVS Apache RR 310S will reportedly be launched this month. Expect the bike to cost below INR 2 lakhs, ex-showroom. The prime competitor of the bike in its price segment is the KTM RC390.
