The TVS Apache has entered the Asia Book of Records after successfully completing the longest non-stop stunt show in India. TVS Motor Company held the Apache Pro Performance at Seasons Mall, Pune where five stunt teams from cities like Bangalore, Coimbatore, Indore, Jaipur and Delhi participated in the six-hour record-breaking stunt marathon. Over 25,000 people attended the event.
The participants entertained the audience with their skills on the TVS Apache motorcycles. The list of stunts performed in the six-hour marathon included:
- Jesus Christ pose
- Pillion thrill-ride
- 360-degree front wheelie
- Synchronised flower burnout
- Suicide burnout
- Mega bike burnout as the grand finale
The participants continued to display their skills in the record-breaking feat despite the heavy downpour. The previous record stood at five hours of non-stop stunt marathon that was held in Chennai in 2017. The TVS Apache stunt team held the record and entered the record books with a five-hour non-stop stunt show on the TVS Apache motorcycles.
The Apache Pro Performance (APP) is aimed to create widespread customer engagement and tap potential customers. Other initiatives undertaken by TVS to promote its products include Apache Racing Experience (ARE), National Road Racing Champions from TVS Racing and Apache Owners Group (AOG).
In another update from the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand, the company is offering its flagship motorcycle, the Apache RR310, at low EMI and a zero downpayment. The 2019 Apache RR310, which was launched in India at an ex-showroom (Delhi) price tag of INR 2.27 lakh, is available at EMI starting from INR 4,444.
To give you a quick recap, the 2019 Apache RR310 retains the mechanical and hardware specifications of the model it replaces. However, the 2019 iteration addresses the issues reported by customers and offers a more refined ride experience. Some of the features on the 2019 TVS Apache RR310 include added rubber padding for the visor, fatter bar-end weights and new a new chain roller. The motorcycle also benefits from assist and slipper clutch that brings the feature list closer to its rival, the KTM RC390.
