As you would all know by now, the Toyota Innova Facelift is awaiting to be launched in Indonesia on Monday, August 19. Autonetmagz has already managed to get the pricing of the refreshed Innova and a couple of additional images showing the tweaked front and rear.
Apart from getting a larger chrome grille with a completely restyled front bumper, the rear of the MPV gets a chrome embellishment and a mildly tweaked bumper. This facelift exercise is not being carried over for all the variants. The lower-end 'J' has to do with new wheel caps and addition of dual airbags.
Safety wise, PT Toyota Astra, the Indonesian subsidy of Toyota, has ensured that the front dual airbags is standard across the range. The top-end variants seem to sport a new music system as well. Thanks to these feature additions, apart from the cosmetic ones, the price has also been increased.
The J, E and G variants have their prices increased by 4.7 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 27,824) thanks mainly to the addition of the dual airbags. The top-end V variant (which was already equipped with airbags) sees a price increase of 1.8 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 10,648).
While India is expected to get this facelift next year, it remains to be seen whether the airbags would be made standard across the range.
