The Toyota Innova Facelift is the next launch lined up by Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese carmaker. While the refreshed Innova was launched in Indonesia on August 19th, news soon made its way that the Indian launch was not far ahead.
Team BHP member 'mroptimist' spotted this refreshed Innova in a dealership in Malappuram, Kerala. Seen here is the 'G' variant of the Innova, which is not the top-end variant but still gets features like front and rear power windows and a rear wiper/washer.
The front fascia gets redone with the help of a much larger grille with three horizontal slats. The bumper is also newly designed and the level of detailing has increased. While we have shown you plenty of images of the refreshed Innova's rear with a chrome embellishment, seen here is a body-colored plate with 'Innova' written on it. Maybe this Innova loses out the chrome as it is a lower 'G' variant.
Additional reflectors and a set of parking sensors can also be seen (though the parking sensors could be a dealer level accessory). Team BHP also reports that the refreshed Innova could be launched in India on October 9th, though the pricing of the vehicle has already been leaked a few days earlier. A new top-end 'Z' variant will be added, which costs nearly INR 17.7 lakhs on-road in Delhi.
