The Tata Bolt was designed by Tata Motors' European design centre. The Bolt is being teased as the F4, or Falcon 4, but it is believed that Tata will call the car 'Bolt'. The Bolt is a heavily redesigned Tata Vista. It will be powered by the company's newly announced 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol Revotron engine that develops 85 hp.
The Bolt gets an all-new 'Human Machine Interface' which suggests Bluetooth connectivity at the very least. The Bolt's interiors have been redesigned as well to give it a more upmarket feel compared to the Vista. It gets a steering wheel which seems to have been inspired by the Hyundai i20's and it gets an instrument cluster with a small digital information screen in the centre flanked by large rounds dials for the tachometer and the speedometer.
The Bolt will be officially unveiled on February 3rd, and a public debut will happen later at the Auto Expo 2014.
