TVS Motor Company first introduced the SBS technology in the TVS Wego.
TVS Motor has made the Sync Brake System (SBS) standard on all variants of the TVS Wego and TVS Jupiter.
SBS technology uses a reaction relay lever to co-apply brakes in quick succession. This ensures that the transition plays out smoothly and the deceleration is evenly distributed, thus offering increased braking control. The application of rear brake automatically activates the front brake which enhances the braking performance of the vehicle.

The use of SBS technology will also reduce the force required on the lever. Combined braking systems like TVS' SBS will be a compulsory fitment on all new two-wheelers with an engine displacement of 125 cc or below from 2018.
Both the TVS Wego and TVS Jupiter is powered by a BSIV compliant 109.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled OHC mill coupled to a CVT gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 8 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
TVS also adds that the SBS technology is a low-maintenance system despite having additional mechanical parts.
