The TVS Jupiter was first introduced in 2013.
The 2017 TVS Jupiter BSIV gains Auto Headlamp On (AHO) and has been priced at INR 49,666. The Jupiter is the second largest selling automatic scooter in the country.
Powering it is the 109.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled OHC mill coupled to a CVT. The engine is capable of producing 8 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. It has a seat height of 765 mm and a ground clearance of 150 mm.
The scooter gets 12-inch wheels at both ends with tubeless tyres. Brakes in the 2017 TVS Jupiter are 130 mm drum unit at both ends. The automatic scooter also has a 5-litre fuel tank and has an external fuel tank filling lid. Other features include a low fuel indicator, mobile charging and dual side handle lock.

The TVS Jupiter also tells if the rider is riding in Eco or Power mode. Colour options include Royal Wine, Matte Blue, Stallion Brown, Titanium Grey, Sparkling Silver, Midnight Black, Volcano Red and Pristine White. The 2017 edition also gains two new options, Jade Green and Mystic Gold.
TVS has so far sold more than 1.5 million units of the TVS Jupiter.
