Hours ago, we informed our readers that the Suzuki Inazuma GW250 will be launched in India on January 27. We also broke the news that the naked street bike will be priced at INR 3.13 lakhs (ex-Showroom, New Delhi) and INR 3.44 lakhs (on-road, New Delhi).
Pre-bookings for the Inazuma are underway and as you can see from these latest spyshots clicked by a reader, the motorcycle has started arriving at dealers for demo and training purposes as well.
The Inazuma is based on a semi double-cradle chassis. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and seven-way adjustable mono-shock springs at the rear. Power for the Inazuma comes from a 248 cc, parallel-twin, fuel-injected engine which is capable of producing 26 bhp and 24.4 Nm of torque. The drive is transmitted using a 6-speed gearbox.
Like the international variant, the Inazuma for India will also feature front and rear disc brakes and three-spoke aluminium wheels. Our images also confirm the LCD speedometer, while the rev-counter gets the conventional analogue meter.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited (SMIL) will retail only one variant of the Inazuma to begin with. As per our sources, deliveries of the motorcycle are scheduled to commence from the day of the launch.
