Expected to launch in the coming weeks.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan in these spyshots is production ready, and according to some reports, this particular color scheme (wherein the White tank complements the snowy Himalayas) is one of several that would be offered on the adventure tourer.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan spotted here rides on spoked wheels, and seems to offer on-and-off road type tyres. It sports a disc brake at either end, mounts for jerry cans on either side of the fuel tank, a swing-arm and monoshock suspension, a decently-sized windshield, a front splash guard, and black-and-silver panniers with black-painted mounts.
Some reports state that the Himalayan will be offered in two variants - a City and Off-road model. The City variant would get alloy wheels while missing out on the mounts for jerry cans and extended carriers.
One of the highlights of the Royal Enfield Himalayan will be its all-new 431 cc, single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which according to reports, delivers 30 bhp and 32 Nm of torque. The engine is reported to be equipped with a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) with the gearbox being a 5-speed unit.
