Powered by the 1.5L K9K diesel engine.
Indian Autos Blog reader, Vishnu Kallil, snapped the soon-to-launch Renault Lodgy recently. As can be seen in the spyshot, the MPV gets a touchscreen infotainment system, circular, chrome-ringed AC vents and a center console similar to the Renault Duster.
Rotary knobs below the infotainment system indicate that the Lodgy will get a manual AC system, much like the Duster. In fact, expect a lot of parts to be shared with the crossover.
Renault India confirmed an early-2015 launch for the MPV, and also released the first image of the India-spec Lodgy. For the Indian market, the MPV gets added chrome detailing on its grille, and different alloy wheels.
Power for the Lodgy will come from the 1.5-liter four-cylinder K9K diesel engine, though it remains to be seen in which state of tune Renault launches it with. On the Duster, it is available in 85 PS and 110 PS power states, with the latter benefitting from a 6-speed manual transmission while the former makes do with a 5-speed unit.
