Gets added chrome detailing in the grille.
Renault India have just released the first image of the Renault Lodgy MPV in its India-specification. Confirming a launch in 2015 (early 2015 as told to Indian Autos Blog by sources), the French car maker has mildly redesigned the front fascia of the car.
While the grille is identical in design to the Lodgy sold abroad, the Indian version gets chrome detailing throughout. Also the front bumper's underlip gets black plastic cladding, while the international version is finished in the body color, or an optional silver skid guard is provided.
Save for these changes, and a new alloy wheel design, the Lodgy for India looks identical to the international version on the outside. Some market specific changes could be made on the inside, as the Lodgy will share a bulk of its components with the Duster which is well localized in India.

The press note released by Renault India reads that the Lodgy will "deliver best in segment performance". While engine options haven't been confirmed, the MPV is sure to use the 1.5-liter dCi diesel engine, matched to 5- or 6-speed manual transmissions.
