Showcasing the customisability of the successful Renault Kwid hatchback, Renault India is displaying a specially accessoried Renault Kwid at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016.
At the front, the Kwid's grille gets special chrome treatment and a black & white sticker on the bonnet that runs all along the shoulder line of the hatchback to the C-pillar. A black roof and blackened rear view mirrors complete the external cosmetic changes. The hatchback's alloy wheels have also been changed to now show triple-slot wheels.
On the inside, the hatchback gets minimal changes, except for a red panel on the bottom of the gear lever slot, red stitching and lining on the seats, and a red and black carpet underneath the accelerator pedal.
The Renault Kwid has been a runaway success for the French manufacturer, with over 100,000 units being booked by customers in India already. Alongside the accessorised version, the Renault Kwid 1.0 and the Renault Kwid Automatic (AMT) were announced, and the Kwid Racer and Kwid Climber concepts were unveiled.
