Customer deliveries to commence in January 2017.
A pre-production Peugeot 3008 has been spotted in the wild post its unveil on May 23. It will make its motor show debut in Paris in October 2016, and customer deliveries will commence from January 2017.
The 2016 Peugeot 3008 adopts a much bolder exterior with a taller ride height, upright nose, long clamshell bonnet, black plastic cladding and roof rails. The styling is a departure from the older MPV-esque predecessor. Some of the exterior features include a wide hexagonal grille, LED headlights and taillights, floating roofline and large 18-inch wheels.
Previewed by Peugeot’s i-Cockpit, the interior of the 3008 is a revolutionary step up from that of any Peugeot models currently sold. Few of the main highlights include a 12.3-inch high-res driver's screen, an 8-inch freestanding touchscreen on the dashboard, and ‘piano key’ switches for various functions. It has a 520 liter boot capacity that can be increased to 1580 liters by folding the rear seats.
