Days ahead of the launch, trim levels and prices of the Perodua Axia have been leaked online. Bookings for the sub-Myvi hatchback has already commenced across Malaysia.
As reported earlier, the Axia will be available in four variants - E, G, SE and Advance - all powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 65 PS (64.08 bhp) and 87 Nm of torque. The base E variant makes do with a 5-speed MT and the top end Advance comes only with a 4-speed AT. The G and SE are offered with manual and automatic gearboxes.
In terms of equipment, the E variant gets power steering, dual airbags, immobilizer, power windows, vanity mirror for driver, body colored door handles and bumpers, and LED taillights.
The G variant adds remote keyless entry with anti-theft alarm, rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear wiper and defogger, audio system, height adjustable driver seat, parcel tray, multipurpose container, seatbelt alarm and Isofix mounts.

The Special Edition (SE) variant gets additional features such as projector headlamps, SE aerodynamic body kit, foglamps, front parking sensors, chrome grille, ABS, EBD, BA, Bluetooth connectivity, fabric door pad trim, semi bucket seats, silver and chrome accents on the dashboard, adjustable headrests and tinted windows.
The top-of-the-line Advance gets all the features of the SE in addition to a touchscreen multimedia infotainment system, leather seats and leather wrapped multifunction steering wheel.
Prices of the Perodua Axia range from RM 24,900 (around INR 4.79 lakhs) to RM 45,300 (INR 8.72 lakhs).
