The car is expected to be launched later this year.
A prototype of the 2016 Ford Taurus was caught last month, and now, Chinese website auto.qq.com has spied the sedan, with the car's interior in focus.
According to the pictures, the 2016 Ford Taurus gets a straight forward yet premium looking interior. A multifunction 4-spoke steering, a rotary gearknob, automatic climate control, a small screen equipped infotainment system, a push-button start, and electronic hand brake are some of the features spotted.
The higher end variant gets a larger touchscreen display likely to be equipped with Ford's latest SYNC touchscreen. A Sony entertainment system sits just below it, both of which take up the whole of the centre console.
Engine options, as earlier reported, could include the range of EcoBoost engines, while the report also mentions the possible use of 2-litre and 3.5-litre EcoBoost units. Based on the CD4 platform which also underpins the Mondeo, the 2016 Taurus is expected to be lighter than the outgoing model.
