The Suzuki Hayate commuter is set to receive a cosmetic makeover to brighten up its prospects this festive season and here are the leaked images of the refreshed motorcycle uploaded by Bikewale.
The only noticeable difference is that the black plastic side cowl of the current model will come with body colored finish complete with decals.
The refreshed Hayate will also get wider rims and tubeless tyres while the rest of the package will remain untouched.
The commuter is powered by a 112.8 cc air cooled engine which delivers 8.3 bhp and 8.8 Nm of torque. The motor is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The top-end variant gets electric starter while alloy wheels come standard. None of the variants offer an option of a front disc brake.
In terms of dimensions, the Hayate is 2,030 mm long, 720 mm wide, 1,070 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 1,260 mm. Kerb weight stands at 114 kg. Traditional telescopic forks (front) and coil spring shock absorbers (rear) take care of the suspension duty.

In addition to the facelifted Hayate, Suzuki Motorcycle India is also gearing up to launch the Gixxer motorcycle across India in the coming weeks.
