Images of the new Hyundai Verna 2017 have been shared on The Automotive India forum prior to its launch on August 22. Hyundai dealerships are currently accepting bookings for the new generation Verna.
This particular example sports the Sleek Silver exterior colour in the top of the line SX trim. Hyundai will offer the new Verna diesel in E, EX, EX Auto, SX, SX+ Auto and SX(O) while the petrol variant will be available in E, EX, EX Auto, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Auto trims.
Aside from the Sleek Silver shade here, customers can choose from six body colours including Polar White, Fiery Red, Star Dust, Thunder Black, Siena Brown, and Flame Orange.
The images once again show the dashboard layout of the Hyundai Verna 2017. As reported earlier, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen unit and auto aircon. Judging by the key in the ignition slot and the gear stick, this appears to be the SX+ Auto trim as the top end SX(O) gets push button start. Other features on offer include ventilated seats, smart trunk, sunroof and more.
On the outside, the new look brings the Verna in line with Hyundai's current design language including the signature 'Cascading' grille. There are projector headlamps and LED DRLs along with LED tail light detailing on offer. Hyundai Verna SX trims ride on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
A 123 PS 1.6 L Gamma petrol and a 1.6 L U2 CRDi will power the new Hyundai Verna 2017 mated to 6-speed automatic and manual transmission options. There will be no 1.4 L petrol and diesel engine options on offer.
