The interior of the test mule shows that the C-Class' dashboard and soft components have been carried over without obvious changes. It has the same centrally positioned free-standing LCD display, five round air vents, Touchpad-equipped COMAND infotainment, and a glossy black center console.

The mechanical carriage of the GLC is the same as the C-Class. The MRA (Mercedes Rear-wheel Architecture) can support a wide range of powertrains including a plug-in hybrid. At the launch, the GLC could employ turbocharged 2.0L and 3.0L engines with an AMG version to come later packed with the AMG GT's 4.0L V8.
