Maruti Xl6 Exterior Front
While the Maruti Ertiga features halogen projector headlamps, the Maruti XL6 is equipped with LED headlamps.

As we have known for a while now, the Maruti XL6 is the premium and rugged variant of the Maruti Ertiga. It will be 4,445 mm long, 1,775 mm wide and 1,700 mm tall. Compared to the Ertiga, it will be 50 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 10 mm taller. However, it shares the same 2,740 mm wheelbase and also has the same 209 litres (all seats up format) boot space as the Ertiga.

Under the hood, the Maruti XL6 will have the same K15B 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine. This unit works in conjunction with the dual-battery mild-hybrid system. It produces 77 kW (104.69 PS) of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of peak torque at 4,400 rpm. 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic will be the transmission choices. It is claimed to deliver 19.01 km/l (MT)/17.99 km/l (AT) of fuel economy.

The Maruti XL6 will be made available in two trims, Alpha and Zeta. As seen in other Maruti Suzuki vehicles through NEXA dealerships, Zeta is the lower trim and Alpha. It will come packed with many premium standard features such as captain seats in the middle row, cruise control, 7-inch Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment system, LED fog lamps/headlamps/DRLs, roof rails, and contrast ORVMs. While the higher Alpha trim will feature some additional bits including leather seats, electrically foldable ORVMs, black alloy wheels, auto-headlamps with follow-me-home and lead-me-to-vehicle feature and much more.
