Could be a possibility, if Maruti decides to expand the RS brand.
Adding to our series of imaginative of renders, which include a Maruti Dzire Fastback and Vitara Brezza Coupe is a new render that seems more likely to come to fruition. Shoeb R Kalania has created a rendering of the Maruti Vitara Brezza RS.
If Maruti decides to expand the RS brand instead of making it exclusive to the Baleno, a Vitara Brezza RS could be a possibility. It will feature a sportier body kit, lower ground clearance, 16-inch alloy wheels painted in black, and a bolder grille with vertical chrome slats. Inside, Maruti could offer RS exclusive seat upholstery, floor carpets, and color-coordinated interior trim options for a livelier appeal.
As for the engine, the Vitara Brezza RS could pack the Baleno RS' 1.0L Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 100 hp (75kW) at 5,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque between 1,700 rpm – 4,500 rpm. In the Baleno RS, the 1.0L Boosterjet can average a fuel mileage of 21.1 km/L, so expect the Vitara Brezza RS to be lower owing to its heavier kerb weight.

Reports suggest that Tata Motors is planning a sportier version of the Nexon SUV developed by JT Special Vehicles, a Jayem Automotives – Tata Motors JV, and Ford could be tempted to introduce an Ecosport 'Sports' variant, similar the Ford Figo Sports and Aspire Sports, so the idea of a Maruti Vitara Brezza RS could be greenlit if Maruti senses there is buyer interest in this sub-segment.
