In the past, we have brought you a few products of BigDaddyCustoms, the Delhi based customization specialist. They were responsible for making a Tata Safari look like a Range Rover Evoque and also making the boring Sumo Grande look über cool.
Their latest project is not as outrageous or radical as their past attempts, but it looks like a very neat job (and very affordable!) on what is a custom-friendly car.
The donor car in this case is a Maruti Swift. Being a hugely popular hatch, wouldn't it be nice to see your Swift stand apart from the rest of the over-populated herd?
The first thing to be chucked out is the standard car's tires. It doesn't matter if you have the ZXi/ZDi variant with the added rubber and the alloys as it gets thrown out of BigDaddy's workshop the moment its taken in for the job. In their place, an all new custom coated alloy wheel measuring 15-inches is fitted with the rubber sourced from Continental tires. The tire dimensions are now 195/60 R15 (185/65 R15 is the alloy wheel size in the ZXi/ZDi variants).
The next fad among custom car enthusiasts (and might we say among mainstream car manufacturers themselves), which are blackened out or 'smoked' headlamps and tail lamps are covered in the package.
The rear bumper also features a custom mesh. The door sills and the running board are rubberized. A few racing blue highlights on the wheels and along the wheelbase complete the customization package.
BigDaddy will charge you, what we think is a very reasonable, INR 40,000 for this customization. Overall, this customized Swift certainly looks the part of the boy racer.
