Unlikely to launch in India initially.
The image below shows the Lexus RC-F in Chennai, in what appears to be the service road leading to the Madras Motor Sports Club's (MMSC) track in Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur. In all likelihood, the RC-F here is a customer vehicle imported privately as Lexus is expected to start its Indian operations only next year, and the RC-F isn't one of the brand's initial models.
Having made its world premiere in January 2014 at the Detroit Auto Show, the Lexus RC-F is priced from 60,495 GBP (INR 51.2 lakhs) in the UK. It serves as Lexus's rival to the BMW M4, Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe and the Audi RS5.
A 5.0-liter 32-valve DOHC with Dual VVT-i V8 engine powers the Lexus RC-F, delivering 477 hp at 6,400 rpm and 530 Nm of torque between 4,800-5,600 rpm. An 8-speed automatic transmission is in-charge of delivering this output to the rear wheels. The result is that the Lexus RC-F achieves 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and hits a top-speed of 268 km/h.

The Lexus RC-F rides on 19-inch rims featuring 255/35 tyres up front and 275/35 tyres at the back. Braking power comes from 6-pot 380 mm diameter ventilated discs up front and 4-pot 345 mm diameter discs at the rear. Optionally, buyers can also tick the RC-F Carbon pack which adds a further 8,000 GBP (INR 6.77 lakhs) to the pricetag.
