Jawa Motorcycles has inaugurated its first-ever dealership in Nashik, Maharashtra. Including the new outlet and the existing ones two in Pune (two), Delhi (five), and Bengaluru (three), there are now total eleven dealerships across India.
The Nashik dealership is part of the ‘Phase 1’ launch of the 105 Jawa showrooms that are scheduled to be inaugurated across the country. Speaking at the opening of the new outlet, Mr Ashish Joshi, Chief Executive Officer, Classic Legends Pvt Ltd. said:
"It gives us great pride to bring Classic Legends' Jawa Motorcycles dealership to Nashik. Jawa Motorcycles has enjoyed a huge fan following and it was a historic moment for us when we brought Jawa back in India. We are quite upbeat to offer these classics to the motorcycle enthusiasts in the country. As a custodian of the Jawa brand, it is my obligation on behalf of the entire Jawa team to ensure every Jawa dealer goes out and changes the way classic motorcycles are sold to the future riding generation."
Jawa motorcycles have been sold out till September 2019, and the company has stopped taking online bookings for its bikes in the country. Customers can book the bikes at Jawa dealerships, though. The company aims to offer the best-in-class sales and service to its customers. Mr Joshi explains:
"The faith placed by Jawa customers and aficionados is helping us create a vast dealership network that offers an unparalleled customer experience with best-in-class sales and service offering for any classic motorcycle brand out there."
The Jawa bikes currently command a waiting period of up to six months. While the Jawa Forty-Two retails at INR 1.56 lakh*, the Jawa classic costs INR 1.65 lakh*. While both the motorcycles feature single-channel ABS as standard, Jawa Motorcycles, last month, introduced the dual-channel ABS variants of both the bikes, priced at INR 1.73 lakh* for the Jawa Forty-Two and INR 1.64 lakh* for Jawa classic.
* ex-showroom, Delhi.
