Discover the Explorer in you as together we embark on an exciting journey with #HyundaiVENUE, the Connected SUV. Here is the next chapter.

The Hyundai Venue will be simultaneously revealed in India and at the New York Motor Show. The new model will launch in India in May 2019 and will be manufactured at the company's Sriperumbudur-based facility near Chennai. It has been reported that the company's global compact SUV will be initially produced in India at the company's Ulsan-based facility in South Korea.

Various spy images have revealed that the Hyundai Venue will have a bold stance and an angular design that will be reminiscent of that of the Creta when viewed from some angles. The front-end will feature the latest version of the company's Cascading grille and Composite Light multi-tier lighting setup, while rear-end will likely offer a set of squarish LED tail lights and a beefy bumper. The engine options for the new model should include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.4-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.4-litre turbo-diesel motor.

The Hyundai Venue is being promoted as 'the Connected SUV', which means it could offer several smartphone-enabled features and advanced telematics. The equipment list will even include ventilated front seats and an electric sunroof. The safety net across all trims will feature dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, front seatbelt reminder (SBR), and high-speed warning buzzer.

On the Venue, Puneet Anand, Sr. General Manager & Group Head (Marketing), Hyundai Motor India Limited says:

Today cars are the 3rd most important space in our lives after home and work. We want our car to reflect our personality, to represent who we are. VENUE symbolizes a trendy, stylish and unique place that people want to be seen in. We are confident that the name will resonate well with the new age explorers.
