Gets 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter engine options.
Hyundai showcased the Hyundai ix25, known as Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Cantus in other markets, at Auto China 2016 (2016 Beijing Motor Show). The Hyundai ix25 is available in seven grades, with prices ranging from 1,19,800 to 1,86,800 yuan (INR 12,36,379 to 19,27,843). The ix25 measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,627 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,590 mm.
Two engine options are available: 1.6-litre Gamma naturally aspirated petrol unit that produces 91.6 kW (123 hp) and 150.7 Nm of torque and 2.0-litre Nu naturally aspirated petrol unit that produces 118 kW (158 hp) and 192 Nm of torque. A 1.6-litre T-GDI four-cylinder turbocharged engine developing 160 hp and 250 Nm of torque was also announced last year, but is yet to become available to customers.
Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. A four-wheel drive system is offered in the two top-end grades.
Noteworthy features of the Hyundai ix25 include LED daytime running lights, power folding door mirrors, LED tail lights, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, 8-way electrically adjustable driver's seat and heating function for front seats, satellite navigation and 6-speaker sound system.
