Most powerful variant yet.
The Hyundai ix25 in China (called the Hyundai Creta in India) is now offered with the company's latest 1.6-liter T-GDI petrol engine, making it the most powerful variant one can opt for.
The turbocharged four cylinder engine with direct fuel injection produces 160 hp and 250 Nm of torque, which sends power to the front wheels via an in-house developed 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. An AWD system is still not available in the Hyundai ix25 T-GDI.
To distinguish itself from less powerful variants, the Hyundai ix25 has chrome inserts on the dual slat grille, exclusive 5-spoke alloy rim design, and twin exhaust tips tucked underneath the bumper.
Inside, it comes with a host of equipment such as a multifunction steering wheel wrapped with leather, 7-inch touchscreen with navigation and a browser, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless start, and reverse parking camera. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP round up the safety features.
