The spyshots of the Hyundai i20 facelift continue to flow on Indian Autos Blog, the latest collection is from our good friend "Action Kumar" who spotted the LHD version of the i20 near his home and even managed to snag a few shots of its interior!
The main change we can make out are the aircon vents that are mounted and adjusted vertically, as opposed to the current model's horizontal mounting. All air vents on the dashboard follow the new pattern.
The center console has been tweaked, the volume and tuner knobs appear bigger and chrome tipped. The buttons to choose the audio options are also revised, they are taller now.
On the steering wheel one can see call answer and disconnect buttons, and audio volume toggle. The rest of what we can make out are lifted from the current i20. The minor additions and tweaks lend a premium looks and perhaps feel to the i20's interior.
Hyundai is likely to show the i20 facelift at the Geneva Motor Show in the first week of March. The frequency of the mule's spotting has increased over the last couple of weeks leading to speculations on a very imminent launch. Will Hyundai stage the local launch immediately after the Geneva unveiling?
PS - We posted a set of shots sent by other readers this morning in a different blog post showing the car's revised exterior. We've inserted a Flickr slideshow below containing those images in case you want to skip the text.
