Hyundai Motor India recently launched the much-awaited Grand i10 Nios in the country at an attractive starting price of INR 5 lakh*. Now the company has confirmed to IAB that it plans to expand the Grand i10 Nios range with a CNG variant.
The Hyundai Grand i10 is available in petrol, diesel and petrol-CNG engine variants. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is available in only petrol and diesel engine variants, though. However, in the coming months, the old model will lose the diesel and petrol-CNG engine variants, while the all-new model will gain a petrol-CNG variant.
The new developments were confirmed by Puneet Anand, Senior General Manager and Group Head of Marketing, Hyundai Motor India. Speaking about the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG specifically, he said: "Nios will have a CNG powerplant coming."
