Update - Goa On Wheels has carried a gallery of the Hyundai Elite i20 Celebration Edition. The edition is based on the Sportz variant and comes in the Polar White shade, sporting exterior and interior accessories. It is launched in petrol and diesel variants.
The Elite i20 has a 75 percent market share in the premium hatchback segment.
The launch of the Hyundai Elite i20 Celebration Edition is just days away, though dealerships are accepting bookings for the same. Here are more images of the special edition, which is limited to only 600 units.
As the name suggests, the Celebration Edition celebrates the first anniversary of the Elite i20, which according to Hyundai enjoys a 75 percent share in the upper hatchback segment (premium hatchback segment). It'll be available only on the Sportz trim, with a Polar White body color, and will cost INR 29,900 extra (the Elite i20 Sportz costs INR 6.39 lakhs for the petrol and INR 7.54 lakhs for the diesel, ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
On the feature front, the Elite i20 Celebration Edition gets body graphics with the numeral '1', a 3M Satin Black roof wrap, a glossy C-Pillar (the regular Elite gets a matte black C-Pillar), 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, aluminium pedals and an emblem on the bootlid.
While the Celebration Edition commemorates the first anniversary of the car, HMIL (Hyundai Motor India Ltd) also introduced a flagship variant on the i20 and i20 Active with a touchscreen infotainment system, saving customers the trouble of an aftermarket fitment.
