The Creta has received over 100,000 bookings till date.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) is preparing to launch a special edition on the Hyundai Creta. The compact SUV will soon mark its first anniversary in the Indian market, and the special edition is expected to be called the '1Edition', as seen on a sticker on the C-Pillar.
The spyshot does not reveal too much aside from red wing mirror caps, side body decals and a contrast black roof. The interior could get new seat covers, floor mats, door sills and aluminium pedals. As the special edition looks to be based on the SX or the SX (O) variant, features like a touchscreen entertainment system, reverse parking camera and sensors are already part of the standard kit.
The Hyundai Creta has received over 100,000 bookings in the Indian market, of which HMIL has fulfilled around 80,000 units. The company recently introduced a petrol automatic variant on the Creta given the demand for petrol cars since the ban on large diesel engined vehicles in Delhi-NCR.
